Lisa Davis-Walker — Treasurer (Okotoks, Canada)
Three of the most critical elements to our success involve establishing and maintaining good IT, good data analysis, and good governance. As Treasurer, Lisa brings a wealth of these skills.
In 1992, she earned a Bachelor of Mathematics – with a double major in Honours Chartered Accountancy and Information Systems – from the University of Waterloo’s prestigious Co-op Program. Since earning her CA designation in 1993, she has become a partner within a well-established firm while maintaining memberships in the CA institutes of both Alberta and Ontario. She has also served on a number of non-profit boards.
Today she audits seven non-profit organizations and charities. Lisa's 15 years of NFP audit experience has prepared her to develop the systems we need to satisfy the significant audit requirements that Vermillion Institute is subject to under Alberta law.
