Elise Dubourg — Chair (Okotoks, Canada)

Elise Dubourg was raised in Chemeres, France, where she earned a double degree in Business & Agriculture Science from L'Ecole de Commerce de Paris, making her the fourth generation of her family to work in agriculture. She uses her talents in the Canadian agronomy division of one of the world’s leading science companies. Over the last twenty years, this company successfully replaced much of its petrochemical division with more desirable plant-based solutions, which increased its profits and market share.

Elise is also President of the Alberta chapter of Canada's largest plant science association—generating innovations for solving Ag, urban, and public health challenges.
